The #8220;Trienna#8221; Armchair was designed for the Triennale in Milan in 1957. It was originally made in oak and natural leather. Maker: Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), Sweden. Later, the #8220;Trienna#8221; chair came into re-production at furniture manufacturer Källemo, Sweden.
Nordiska Kompaniet was a well known design company which produced many popular design objects during the 20th century. Furniture, textiles and decorative arts were created by designers connected to NK and produced in NK#8217;s factories. NK was also a licensed manufacturer of Herman Miller#8217;s furniture. NK factories closed in 1973.
